Inspiration :: Drew Barrymore's family tree

Drew Barrymore is part of a big Hollywood family of beautiful women.

Pictured above are her grandparents John Barrymore and Dolores Costello on the set of the 1926 film The Sea Beast. I love her dark lips and pigtails with ringlets!

Their children, Dede (Dolores Ethel Mae Barrymore) and John are in the next photo (John is Drew's dad). I am in LOVE with Dede's hair, those bangs and the slight wave in her long bob, amazing.

Next to Dede and John is a photo of the gorgeous Drew Barrymore photographed by Steven Meisel for Vogue. I love that only the hair behind her ears is pulled back into a bun.

The last photo is of Dolores once again because well, just look at that photo, it's perfect.

I just read this about Dolores' retirement from film:

1943: Due to the damage done to her sensitive skin by years of heavy cinema makeup, her cheeks begin to disintegrate and she is forced into retirement. She lives most of the rest of her life in seclusion at her avocado ranch near San Diego, California. -twoop

Isn't that crazy? What was in that cinema makeup?
